Organisers: Shenhan Qian, Linus Härenstam-Nielsen, Ganlin Zhang, Weirong Chen
Description
This seminar explores contemporary techniques for reconstructing 3D geometry from images, with a focus on learning-based and hybrid approaches. Topics include Neural Radiance Fields (NeRF), 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS), Signed Distance Functions (SDFs), and other recent innovations at the intersection of computer vision and graphics. Students will engage in paper presentations and discussions with state-of-the-art methods.
The seminar is conducted in English. Dates and schedule of the seminar can be found in TUMOnline.
